Craniosacral Therapy

Integrated and Biodynamic

Integrated Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (IBCT) is a gentle yet deeply effective approach to supporting health and well-being. It brings together the principles of biodynamic craniosacral therapy with other therapeutic influences—recognising that body, mind, and spirit are interconnected and that true healing often requires an integrated approach.

What Is Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy?

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) works with the body’s natural rhythms and its innate capacity for self-healing. Using a light, non-invasive touch, the practitioner listens to subtle movements and patterns within the craniosacral system (the head, spine, nervous system, and surrounding fluids). This attentive stillness creates space for the body to release stress, trauma, and long-held tension—encouraging balance, vitality, and ease.

What Makes It Integrated?

The integrated approach combines biodynamic craniosacral work with other complementary practices, tailored to the unique needs of each person. This may include:
   •    Somatic awareness and trauma-informed techniques – to gently support emotional and nervous system regulation.
   •    Breath and body awareness – to deepen relaxation and presence.
   •    Mind-body integration – recognizing the profound connection between emotional experiences and physical well-being.
   •    Holistic support – drawing on aspects of mindfulness, gentle movement, or energy-based awareness where appropriate.

This integration allows each session to be flexible, responsive, and deeply personal—meeting you exactly where you are on your healing journey.

Who is it for

Craniosacral therapy is appropriate for all ages, from newborn babies to the elderly and can be used through pregnancy.

It helps mums who had a difficult birth and babies who suffer from colics or struggle to slip

Benefits

Clients often seek  Craniosacral Therapy for support with:
   •    Stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm
   •    Nervous system regulation and resilience
   •    Headaches, tension, or chronic pain
   •    Sleep difficulties and fatigue
   •    Recovery from trauma or injury
   •    A desire for deeper self-awareness and inner stillness

Beyond addressing symptoms, many people find sessions profoundly restorative, offering a renewed sense of clarity, calm, and connection to themselves.

What to Expect in a Session

Sessions are carried out fully clothed while you lie comfortably on a treatment table. Using a light touch, the practitioner listens to your body’s rhythms and gently supports its natural capacity to release and reorganize. Each session is unique, guided by what feels safe and appropriate for you in the moment.

You may experience deep relaxation, subtle physical sensations, or a feeling of spaciousness and ease. The effects often continue to unfold gently in the days following a session.
